Sheldon’s Car Care opened its doors in 1990 as a one man auto, light truck and marine repair shop. It quickly grew and in 1995 Sheldon’s Car Care expanded to the waterfront line.  At that time we also took on the name of Advanced Docks & Lifts. We began to offer dock sales as well as boat lifts, water toys and trailers of all kinds. Storage and winterizing was also added to our list of services offered.  With our new product line we added two crews to install and remove docks and lifts.

In 2000 Advanced Sales was opened offering a location in the town of Battle Lake.  Advanced Sales carries all of the same product lines and also added used cars, Snapper lawn mowers and Shindaiwa power equipment.

Currently Sheldon’s Car Care/Advanced Docks & Lifts employs 4 technicians, dock and lift crews and a sales staff, as well as office personnel. We look forward to many more years of serving the area.
